Bhote Koshi River Rafting is one of the recently open for rafting rivers. It represents the forefront of river rafting. This River is about 70km ease of Kathmandu; where snow comes from the melting Himalaya ranges. Bhote Koshi River rafting remains a favorite for its fast-paced adventure and thrills of river rafting. The stream of the river is the steepest creating a virtual year-round torrent. This provides some of the most exciting rafting in the world. Rafting in Bhote Koshi offers abundant pictorial instant and a prospect to visit unexplored archaeological sites and discarded areas. The river drops steeply, offering relentless stretches from class III to IV rapids. Boulder gardens, small waterfalls, steep chutes, and 90-degree bends are some of the obstacles to making you lively.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Swagat Holiday Treks & Expedition will receive and transfer you to your hotel. After you are greeted with welcome drinks at the hotel, we will have to quick meeting to discuss the necessary formalities regarding your trip. You can then check in to your room, freshen up and rest. Or if you are not one of those “lay back” types, you can take a stroll around the vicinity of your hotel and get the feel of this hyperactive capital city of Nepal. On the streets, people seem to be on sheer rush, barely noticing one another, but if you utter “Namaste”, they will definitely reciprocate with a smile; well that’s Nepal’s culture. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing (1400m)
A short stroll in the evening yesterday might not have acquainted you with Kathmandu. So we want to make sure that you know this city as you know yourself. Once done with your breakfast, let’s hop in to our reserved vehicle and then on for a comfy ride with one of our experienced city guides. You will be visiting the most renowned historical/cultural landmarks in Kathmandu. Our guide will take you to the Pashupatinath Temple (the most revered Hindu shrine), Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu (Basantapur) Durbar Square. All these sites are enlisted in the UNESCO world’s heritage list. After this informative and interesting tour, we drive back through the busy and noisy streets of Kathmandu to the serene premises of your hotel. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: We will leave Kathmandu to Point Lamosanghu
We will leave Kathmandu after early breakfast and reach the starting point Lamosanghu at around 10-11 am. We will meet our raft guide there. After having lunch on the beach, the leader will provide a lesson on river safety, paddling techniques, and some rescue tips for your safety. Shortly we will enter the river with our life jackets and other helmets on. Then our grade 4 rafting journey begins on with all the way ups and downs exciting flips. Today we will end our raft at Barabise. We will set our camp and spend our night there. Just enjoy the surroundings and silently flowing river overnight.
 
Day 04:  Full day raft and return to Kathmandu
After a short breakfast, early in the morning, we will set for the full day rafting adventure. We will be fully prepared today as we are going to have some high rapids. We will enjoy the white river action for about more than 95 miles today. You will finish your trip by the Dolalghat and have your lunch prepare for your further destination.
 
Day 05: Final departure to your homeland or onward destination
Unless you intend to extend your trip, this will be your last day in Nepal. A representative from Swagat Holiday Treks & Expedition will escort you to the Tribhuwan International Airport, three hours prior to your flight schedule.
As you wave us goodbye and enter the terminal block, you would perhaps recall your arrival at this place. No wonder, everything seems so familiar now, because you had come here as a tourist, but you are going back as a friend. Have a safe flight back home and we look forward to being your travel companion in Nepal again.

  • Tented camp during the rafting
